Fripp Strong: Supporting Our Neighbors on Fripp Island
At Palmetto Blended, we believe in the power of community — and sometimes, that power shows up strongest in moments of rebuilding.
After a devastating fire impacted homes and families on Fripp Island in Beaufort County, a group of locals quickly came together to offer support. Led by Katie Thomas aka The Island Chick, this grassroots effort grew into something truly special: the Fripp Strong campaign.
The Heart Behind Fripp Strong
Fripp Island is a close-knit coastal community where neighbors feel more like family. When the fire struck, it left many residents facing unexpected challenges — and the community wasted no time rallying around them. The Island Chick organized a fundraiser and outreach effort to provide relief and resources to those affected.
Our Contribution: Custom “Fripp Strong” Tees
When we heard about the initiative, our team at Palmetto Blended was honored to help. We created and produced the Fripp Strong T-shirts — a bold, simple design that quickly became a symbol of hope, unity, and resilience.
The shirts were sold to raise funds for families recovering from the fire, with 100% of proceeds going directly to support those impacted. Each shirt represents more than apparel; it’s a reminder that even in tough times, the Lowcountry spirit shines bright.
Why It Matters
Designing premium custom apparel for businesses is what we do best — but supporting our community is what means the most. Seeing friends, families, and even pets wearing Fripp Strong shirts across the island has been a humbling reminder of how creativity can spark compassion.
At Palmetto Blended, we’re proud to stand beside our neighbors — one print, one shirt, one cause at a time.
